Job Overview
As a Cleaning Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in both our front-of-house areas and professional kitchen. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly and provides a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, while also ensuring that our kitchen is safe, sanitary, and ready for use by our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms.
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, menus, and light switches.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed to maintain cleanliness throughout service hours.
• Ensure all trash and recyclables are disposed of properly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, sinks, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and ventilation systems.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of cleaning supplies and materials.
• Follow all health and safety standards, including food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or cleaning supply shortages to management.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as cleaning vents, ovens, and refrigerators.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player, supporting other staff as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices, especially in a professional kitchen setting.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and appropriately.
