Job Description

We're seeking a part-time Content Assistant who will play a key role in updating web content to ensure it's accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO. This role will involve implementing content updates across various articles, conducting product information audits, and maintaining fact-checking documentation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working independently within a Content Management System (CMS). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to maintaining and enhancing digital content while gaining valuable experience in the content production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Updates & Optimizations

• Update and optimize team pages for multiple professional and collegiate sports leagues.
• Assist with additional page updates based on priority and seasonality.

Services Content Updates

• Perform fact-checking audits related to service changes, including prices, channels, and package names.
• Update service and channel pages for channel additions and removals.

Fact-Checking & Auditing

• Maintain a streaming service fact-checking sheet to ensure information accuracy.
• Assist in auditing existing content for formatting, fact-checking, and image updates.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of content experience
• Knowledge of SEO and CMS best practices
• Strong attention to detail, especially with formatting and fact-checking
• Ability to manage multiple priorities based on seasonality and project needs
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the team

FLSA: Part-time/ No more than 29 hours weekly
Pay Rate: $25-$40/hour based on experience
