Position Summary As a Junior Graphic Designer you will be responsible for the design, and execution of visual digital assets for e.l.f. Cosmetics and e.l.f. SKIN. Along with your Art Director leads, you will handle multiple projects and deliverables, translating project concepts into compelling visuals based on marketing and business objectives. In this role you will deliver digital solutions for a diverse range of marketing needs across the two brands. A passion for beauty is a plus!
Responsibilities - Support the team's Art Directors in the design of digital collateral including assets for web, emails, social media, and paid media.
- Translate creative briefs into effective design solutions throughout the customer journey while employing best practices per channel.
- Design all assets with digital story telling in mind across all customer touch points; ensuring brand and message consistency throughout the consumer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure images, copy and design come together to create the best representation of our brands.
- Present creative to internal team; addressing feedback with solution-based creative thinking.
- Concept and design in a digital/mobile first mindset.
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with ecomm, marketing, social and other departments whose activities intersect with creative.
Requirements: - BA/BFA in design
- 1-2 years experience in a deadline-driven creative environment, professionally or in an internship capacity
- Aware of trends and new ideas within beauty and social media, with ability to interpret those into high performing brand creative
- Ability to execute motion graphics/simple animations for assets
- A strong eye for typography and design through a digital lens
- Ability to balance business goals with creative vision
- Communicate information effectively with relevant members of the team throughout creative lifecycle
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines, quickly managing changing priorities
- Strong knowledge of digital best practices and channel formats (i.e.: Instagram stories vs. display banners).
- Ability to anticipate workload and communicate proactively with team members
- Strong communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline driven.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative manner and a highly creative out-of-the-box thinker
- Knowledge of computer programs including: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator, Figma, digital animation software, interest in AI
- Understanding of current fashion, beauty, design and digital trends
$65,000 - $75,000 a year
