What You Will Do

• Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department.
• Negotiate contracts and manage performance with outside vendors for execution of maintenance and facilities work.
• Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
• Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
• Implement work order management process to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed and measured for on time and effectiveness.
• Schedule repairs, order parts, and maintain stock inventories of maintenance parts.
• Support the GFS Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO9001.
• Preside over daily meetings to review previous days metrics and provide guidance and support to win today.

What You Have to Offer

• Bachelor’s Degree in a program related to engineering, administration or facility management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical systems and work order management to maintain.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
