POSITION: Manager of Finance and Accounting
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director

POSITION FUNCTION: Directs the organization's financial, fiscal, and administrative support services, which are fundamental to both the conduct of the operations and the achievement of its operational and financial objectives. Manages and communicates all aspects of the organization's financial activities, including budgeting and forecasting, internal and external reporting, cash and investments. Supervise daily operation of the Finance Department to include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Contract Billing, General Ledger and the preparation of monthly financial statements. QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Skills Broad knowledge of cost accounting, general ledger, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract billing, and payroll.
Strong leadership ability, presentation skills, and ability to translate financial terms into understandable terms for managers and staff. General understanding of Accounting Systems, MS Word, Excel, Quick Books and other accounting related programs.
Can perform arithmetic calculations and computations and explain to all levels of staff. The employee may be required to work in or visit Centers locations in the city of Chicago and suburbs and must be able to transport himself/herself to various locations. EQUIPMENT USED: Employee will generally use the telephone, computer, calculator, copier, overhead projector, paper shredder, paper cutter, and filing systems.?
