Participates in related technical instruction and attends classroom instruction as required and passes written tests. This is a competency based program. Competency in the following 10 modules must be demonstrated within the time allotted; Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Air Systems, Air Suspension, Steering and Axles, HVAC/EAC. Wheelchairs, Transmissions and Engines. Perform manual tasks under supervision as needed. Assist advance-skill employees in complex repairs and component rebuild using hand and power tools as directed. Performs preventative maintenance inspections and associated repairs.
