Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Safety Manager with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing safety management. The ideal candidate will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations while fostering a safety-conscious work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Safety Initiatives: Drive a proactive safety culture and motivate employees at all levels.
EHS Program Management: Plan, implement, and maintain EHS programs across all locations, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
Training & Compliance: Develop and deliver required safety training for employees, ensuring all certifications and safety procedures are up-to-date.
Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate safety records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
EHS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, particularly OSHA standards in manufacturing.
Training Development: Experience in creating and delivering safety training programs.
Auditing Skills: Ability to assess safety practices and implement corrective actions.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership: Ability to enforce safety protocols and lead by example.
Education and Experience:
Experience: 5+ years in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturing.
Certifications: Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, OSHA).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
