Job Title: Safety Manager

Years of Experience: 5+ years

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Base Salary: $115,000-$130,000/year

Job Overview:

The Safety Manager will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of the company safety, health, and environmental program. This person will perform safety, health and environmental, reviews at the project(s) to ensure implementation and compliance of company and government/regulated standards. This person will be a resource to the project teams in preventing occupational injury/illness related losses by establishing appropriate loss control/reduction activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts safety, health, and environmental reviews for projects, including producing reports and following up on corrective actions.
• Prepares periodic safety compliance reports for senior management.
• Leads daily safety meetings, orientations, and site-specific safety programs.
• Collaborates with project management and trade contractors to ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Investigates accidents, performs root cause analysis, and collects incident reports.
• Provides guidance on OSHA, ANSI, and other safety regulations and supports compliance inspections.
• Schedules and facilitates employee safety training in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of safety experience in construction with a General Contractor.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• CHST or STS certification required; CSP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience with inspections.
• First Aid/CPR Instructor certification is a plus.
• Experience with OCIP/CCIP is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Safety preferred but not required
