Job Description

About Robin AI

Our vision is to build the world's most intelligent AI legal assistant that can help anyone in the world with their legal problems. We want to build technology that transforms the way lawyers work, helping them navigate complex legal knowledge, move faster, and maximize their impact. We also want to democratize access to legal insights, now made possible through the power of AI. Robin AI has recently raised $26m in Series B funding and has seen an impressive 5x revenue growth in the last 12 months.

We're looking for passionate, resourceful and collaborative people to join Robin. If you're motivated about leveraging technology to make essential business services more accessible, come join us!

About this role

As a Staff Designer at Robin AI, you will be pivotal in solving problems that the $1T legal industry has learned to live with.

You will have an impact from day one, collaborating closely with senior leadership to help set the overall product strategy and direction for Robin AI. You will have the opportunity to create industry leading UX and cutting-edge interaction patterns to help lawyers harness the capabilities of a generative AI copilot.

Our work is multi-disciplinary and brings together world-class talent from Meta, Palantir, Netflix, and Airbnb across engineering, AI, product, and the law. You'll work closely with the product, research, and engineering teams to set the direction and deliver user-friendly, AI-powered products that make lives easier for everyone who uses our tools.

We will also look to you to help set the overall bar for product design, by shipping great products and creating and maintaining design systems. We want design at Robin AI to be 'best-in-class', and you will play a key role in the growth and development of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product leadership to help create the product strategy for Robin AI.
  • Partner with product managers, user researchers, and engineers to understand user needs and design intuitive product experiences.
  • Own the end-to-end design process, from working with product leadership on defining the right problems to solve, through to wireframing, prototyping, and creating pixel-perfect designs.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a consistent design system and process to create a cohesive user experience across products.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure we're delivering high-quality experiences to customers while moving as fast as possible.
What about my skills?
  • 5+ years of experience as a user interface or user experience designer, within a product-led organization.
  • Deep systems thinker, able to organize complex information in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches, high-fidelity comps and/or prototypes.
  • Strong visual design skills with an ability to create simple and intuitive interfaces.
  • Experience in developing and owning product design from start to finish.
  • Able to thrive in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for a rapid, iterative design process, inspired by group critique and user feedback.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal.
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning and expanding your design and leadership skills.
  • You have a portfolio of brilliant design work highlighting a user-centered design process.
  • Expertise in design tools like Figma, Origami, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
Compensation at Robin AI
  • Base Salary: $200,000-$225,000
  • Generous Equity package: When you help build Robin AI, everyone deserves to be an owner.
  • Please Note: If your salary expectations look a little different to that outlined, we'd still be keen to hear from you if this is a role that excites you and one that you think you could really excel in.
Robin AI cannot offer sponsorship in the US but we can provide visa transfer/extension.
