Trauma Surgeon

Our surgeons have a depth and breadth of surgical knowledge that are unmatched in the area, with expertise in less invasive techniques and robotic technology. At the Institute for Surgical Excellence, you’ll be a part of a team that is setting the bar for surgical excellence.

In a Trauma Surgeon career with LVHN, you’ll experience:

• High functioning level III trauma center with approximately 1400 + patient contacts a year in East Stroudsburg PA
• Work in a small-town community hospital with the support of a large network
• Collaborate with a team of 4 Trauma Surgeons and 7 FT and 5 PT Physician Assistants
• Elective general surgery practice in addition to running trauma center
• Time will be split between:

o Rounding on the inpatient trauma and acute care surgical patients
o Outpatient office setting for trauma and surgical follow ups, as well as new elective general surgical patients
o Wound care center and HBO management
o Respond to trauma alert activations
o Cover acute care surgery when group is on call
